Qualifying for this Academic Scholarship
So now that you're excited by the opportunity of an undergraduate scholarship, here's what you need to qualify for the academic scholarships offered by the Foundation:
- You need to have a minimum of a "C" average in the mid year exams.
- You must be a citizen of South Africa, Namibia, Botswana or Swaziland.
- You must be currently studying towards a commerce, science (excluding medicine) or engineering degree at one of the following universities: the University of the Witwatersrand, the University of Johannesburg, the University of Pretoria, the University of Cape Town, Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University, Rhodes University or the University of the Western Cape.
- You must have a passion and flair for entrepreneurialism.
- You should posses the characteristics associated with Allan Gray Fellows - intellectual imagination, personal initiative, spirit of selflessness, courageous commitment and achievement excellence.
- You need to be excited about changing the future of Southern Africa and be ready and rearing to go.
